Through consulting, training and coaching, Charles Collie helps organizations live their purpose by creating a brand focused culture that is ingrained in every aspect of its operations and marketing.
His career began with a U.S. Department of Justice contractor, continued through a successful stint as a political consultant and then found his passion in helping organizations grow with Circuit City Stores when they were the dominant consumer electronics retailer in America.
For the last 18 years, Charles has worked as a brand and management consultant, trainer and coach – first as president of Sanders Consulting Group, an international consulting firm focused on the advertising and marketing industries; with Martin Branding Worldwide, a brand consulting firm founded by David N. Martin, founder of the Martin Agency; as Managing Director of BoldStroke Consulting, a management and marketing consulting firm focused on professional services companies; as Chief Brand Strategist with The Firestarter Group, a branding and marketing firm focused on aligning a company’s internal brand with its external marketing; as Senior Consultant and Director of Marketing for Peacock, a Big Data, data operations management solution that automates data quality; and today as the head of Charles Collie, LLC, as a professional speaker, workshop facilitator and consultant.
Charles currently serves on the boards of Needle’s Eye Ministries and the Wilson Center for Leadership at Hampden-Sydney College. He has been a lecturer for the past 6 years at the University of Richmond Robins School of Business and has for the past 2 years conducted workshops for the University of Richmond School of Law. Charles has been a professional speaker for the past 15 years. He has spoken at events throughout the U.S. as well as in Mexico, Venezuela and Canada.
Charles graduated with honors from Hampden-Sydney College, has a master’s degree from the University of Richmond and attended Emory University School of Law.
